Educators are the pillars of our communities. Over recent months, educators have been tested like never before—and they have risen to the occasion. They are stepping up to help families gain access to highly sought after resources, encourage students through unprecedented times, and support their colleagues despite the distance barriers. At the Glasscock School, we are proud to be a part of a global community of educators. Our commitment to delivering high quality, accessible professional development opportunities remains as strong as ever.
This past summer, we offered our Advanced Placement training workshops on an online platform, allowing participants to meet their professional development needs in a welcoming and safe environment. More than 2,140 educators from over 20 countries joined us in our virtual classrooms to enhance their teaching skills, and ultimately better serve their students. This fall, we are extending the same opportunity to our International Baccalaureate community.
Our Fall IB Workshops are now being offered in an online platform.
What You Can Expect
Workshops will be held Saturday, October 10 through Tuesday, October 13, with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous instruction. During your synchronous sessions on Saturday and Sunday, you will join fellow IB educators in our virtual classrooms. These sessions are accompanied by additional hours of asynchronous work. Monday and Tuesday, synchronous sessions are held in the evenings to best accommodate your school schedule. There is no asynchronous work on these days.
Although the online platform may be new to this workshop, it's not new to us. The Glasscock School has more than 10 years of experience conducting live-instruction virtual learning experiences for busy professionals worldwide. Our online learning support team will be available and ready to assist you with any technical issues you may face throughout your time.
Extended Early Bird Discount
As an added benefit to our educators, we have extended the early bird rate through September 14, 2020.
Secure Your Spot Today
Although our IB workshops are being held virtually, each course will have limited enrollment to maintain the highest quality instructional environment. We recommend that you register early.
