BIOGRAPHY

Shannon Raffetto is the associate director for the Center for College Readiness at the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies. She has nearly 20 years of experience in higher education program administration and a passion for education equity and nonprofit service. She currently serves on the College Board’s Advanced Placement Summer Institute National Advisory Panel. Her past experience includes program and event management for the Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at Rice University, student success and retention at the University of Houston, and admissions at San Jacinto College. She has also served as writer, editor and designer for the Schumacher Foundation. She holds a B.S. in political science and anthropology from the University of Houston.
