Korin Brody
BIOGRAPHY

Korin Brody joined Rice’s Glasscock School of Continuing Studies in 2017 and serves as the Center for Community Learning and Engagement’s (CCLE) interim director. In this role, she leads the Center’s strategic planning, short, non-credit course development and other public programming. She also oversees the creation and implementation of Lifelong University, Rice’s retirement community learning initiative. Much of her work at Rice has her collaborating closely with faculty, community experts and co-sponsoring organizations to extend the depth and breadth of CCLE’s programming in the arts, humanities, sciences, social sciences, and creative arts for adults 18-100+ years. She co-chairs the Glasscock School Art Committee and serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council.

Korin has devoted her career to adult learning and professional development in both corporate and academic settings since 1992. She holds a Master of Education in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education from Penn State University and a BA in psychology from Lawrence University. Korin served on Rice’s Staff Council as Immediate Past Chair, Chair, and Vice Chair (2021-2024) and was the recipient of the Glasscock School’s Mary McIntire Staff Excellence Award in 2025.
