BIOGRAPHY
Korin Brody, joined Rice’s Glasscock School of Continuing Studies in 2017 as the now Center for Community Learning and Engagement’s assistant director and subsequently associate director since 2022. She plays a key role in the planning and managing of local and regional programming, including short, non-credit courses for the community. She works closely with faculty, community experts and co-sponsoring organizations to extend the depth and breadth of CCLE’s creative programming. Korin also leads implementation and collaborates on planning and development of Rice’s Lifelong University retirement community learning initiative.
Korin has worked in adult learning and professional development in both corporate and academic settings since 1992. She holds a Master of Education in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education from Penn State University and a BA in psychology from Lawrence University. Korin served on Rice’s Staff Council as Immediate Past Chair, Chair, and Vice Chair (2021-2024) and was the recipient of the Glasscock School’s Mary McIntire Staff Excellence Award in 2025.
