BIOGRAPHY

Ashley Hudson received her MFA in creative writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She served as UNCW's Assistant Director of the Graduate Liberal Studies (GLS) program from 2012-2020. As a lecturer in UNCW's GLS program, Ashley taught courses in creative and research writing, literature, and publishing. She most recently served as Associate Dean of Graduate and Special Programs at Reed College, where she directed the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program and various community engagement programs. Her poems and prose have appeared in The Fairy Tale Review, Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art, The Southeast Review, Anomalous, Verse Daily, and elsewhere. Ashley lives in Portland, Oregon, with her partner Chris and their elderly cat Emmy Award Winning Actress Jennifur Coolidge.
