Marianita Snodgrass, ACC, brings more than 35 years of experience from the nonprofit sector and her coaching practice. She believes active listening is key for success whether it be in donor stewardship or leadership development. She partners with individuals and teams to inspire and help them break through the challenges that hold them back from being their best in their work and personal lives.

Prior to becoming a coach, Marianita successfully led capital and endowment and annual giving campaigns, special events and managed volunteer teams with Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council and Saint Agnes Academy. She oversaw world-wide business development and national marketing and public relations campaigns for Houston’s convention, tourism and movie industries, as well as advertising campaigns for the George R. Brown Convention Center during her tenure with the Houston Hospitality Alliance.

She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentialed through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) of which she is also a member. She earned her certification as an executive and leadership coach from the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Texas A&M University. She is a Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths coach and has certification in the Multi-Health System’s Emotional Intelligence 2.0 and 360 assessments.

Marianita serves on the Emeritus Advisory Council at Saint Agnes Academy and served on its Alumnae Board and School Board where she was Advancement Committee Chair and Annual Fund Chair. She also co-leads an Ambassador-level Girl Scout troop.
