Dr. Katherine “Kate” Goldberg is a higher education and analytics leader with more than 15 years of experience in advancement services and data-driven strategy. As Director of Advancement Services at Washington College, she championed the use of analytics to strengthen fundraising and alumni engagement, leading a multi-year data and software conversion, implementing best practices in data governance, and developing dashboards that provided actionable insights for institutional leaders. Currently, Dr. Goldberg serves as Collegiate Faculty at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where she designs and teaches courses in data science, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence. Her curriculum emphasizes real-world application, preparing students to leverage analytics, predictive modeling, and data visualization to address organizational challenges. She draws on her advancement background to demonstrate how data can inform strategic decision-making across nonprofit and higher education settings. Dr. Goldberg holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Master’s in Data Analytics from UMGC, and she is certified in AI Engineering and Generative AI Innovation. A published author and frequent conference presenter, she is committed to bridging technical expertise with strategic leadership to empower organizations and individuals to make informed, impactful decisions.
